“Pioneering in sports” Acme Academy is scaling new height by establishing benchmark through leaps and bound. Over here our entire teaching and non-teaching staff are inclined towards the overall development of the student, be it academics or sports or any other extracurricular activity, our utmost attention is to focus simultaneously on each and every aspects of one’s interpersonal growth. So keeping these motives in mind our society has come up with a state of the art sports complex within our integrated school campus under the ages of SKM Sports Foundation. The SKM Sports Foundation will function in parallel to our school “Acme Academy” in future.

Objectives
Searching and enlisting sporting talents at a young age, imparting effective training through most modern techniques in a state-of-the-art environment to achieve international standards in selected sports disciplines like Football, Table Tennis, Chess and Swimming.

Purpose
• To achieve excellence in the field of sports and create a society of healthy citizens by inculcating sports culture in the youth of the country
• To enhance the role of values and ethics in sports
• To provide world-class infrastructure support and training facilities to talented and enthusiastic sports persons and students

Sports Stalwarts at SKM Sports Foundation


Mentor : Sangram Mukherjee
Ace Indian Goalkeeper represented India at International level. A Tata Football Academy product also played for Mohanbagan, East Bengal, and United Sports Club.

Mentor : Murari Kar
Murari Sir is AIFF ‘C’ License Coach from ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDARATION, played for Peerless Sporting Club, FCI, Railway FC and represented Bengal in National level. He was Youth Development coach at Mohammadan Sporting Club.

Football
Coach : Surojit Das
Represented India in 29TH ASIAN SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP held in Kulalampur, Malaysia, and Awarded as a BEST COACH in All India Inter College tournament organized by IIT-KANPUR.  He is also AIFF ‘C’ License Coach from ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDARATION. He played for Port Trust, Indian Bank and Central Railway at National level.

Table Tennis
Coach : Mita Basak (Das)
Represented Junior Bengal Team 18 times at National level and was state champion for 5 times at Junior level. For last 5 years she is actively involved in coaching.

Badminton, Chess & Swimming
SKM Sports foundation is in the process of initiation of Badminton, Chess & Swimming under the mentorship and guidance of reputed National and International players very shortly.
